Funding and Fundraising

OUR FUNDERS

Hounslow Crossroads is currently funded by the Hounslow Primary Care Trust and Hounslow Social Services to provide short periods of respite care to Carers looking after people with any disability or illness.

In 2000, Carers Grant funding was awarded to provide services to Carers of children with disabilities, adults, the elderly, and the elderly with mental health conditions.

In 2003, further Carers Grant funding was secured to provide short periods of respite care to Carers from the Black and Minority Ethnic community and Carers looking after someone living with a mental health condition.

In 2005, the Scheme was successful in a bid to Macmillan Cancer Support to provide a Palliative Care Service supporting Carers looking after someone at home with a diagnosis of cancer or other life-limiting illness.
